Doh Wonsuk Memorial Award Nomination

Korea Institute of Chemical Engineers (KIChE) has awarded Doh Wonsuk Memorial Award since 2005. An award certificate and $1,000 cash prize are awarded to a Korean student who studies for a doctoral degree in chemical engineering and related areas in the United States and stands high performance in classes, demonstrates excellence in research, and is regarded as a role model as an international graduate student by friends, faculty, and staff members.

Application package should include: 1) a letter of recommendation from the student’s advisor, 2) student’s CV, 3) student’s essay describing the area of study and future career plan, and 4) a copy of student’s transcript of the graduate courses.

The Search Committee will review the nominations to select one or two awardee(s), and the award will be presented at the Korean-American Chemical Engineers Forum during the annual AIChE meeting.

Eligibility requirement
*Enrolled in a PhD program in a US institution
